Free Lion SVG Cut File

A free lion SVG — the head shown front-on, framed by a full mane, with the muzzle and eyes picked out in simple shapes. A single-colour cut file with just enough interior detail to give the face character, and bold enough to carry a shirt front on its own. For tigers, elephants, zebras, and other safari animals, have a look at our premium Wild Animals SVG designs.

What can I make?

Kids' t-shirts and onesies, safari and jungle party decorations, nursery wall art, school mascot shirts, tote bags, mugs and tumblers, laptop and car decals, and engraved wooden signs. Cut or engrave it on vinyl, HTV, cardstock, fabric, or wood with any machine that reads SVG, including Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, and Brother ScanNCut.

Crafting tip

The points where the mane meets the face are the narrowest gaps in the design, and the eyes are small enough to pull out by accident. Cut at 5 in (13 cm) wide or larger in vinyl, weed the face before the mane, and lift the eyes with a weeding hook rather than peeling across them. For a two-colour version, cut the mane separately in a warmer shade and layer the face on top.
