Crafting tip

The fronds taper to fine points and the gaps between them are narrow, so this design suffers if you cut it small. Keep it at 5 in (13 cm) tall or larger in vinyl, use a fresh blade, and weed the crown before the trunk. Two or three palms at different heights along the hem of a tote bag make a simple beach scene without needing any extra design work.
